• Diabetic Ulcers: These are open sores or wounds that commonly occur on the feet of people with diabetes. Due to poor blood circulation and nerve damage (a common complication of diabetes), these wounds heal very slowly or sometimes not at all. • Bed Sores: Also called pressure ulcers, these are injuries to the skin and underlying tissue caused by prolonged pressure on the skin. They often develop in people who are bedridden or have limited mobility. Both conditions are called “non-healing” because the body struggles to repair the damaged tissue, often due to poor blood flow, infection, or other health issues.
